There is something really inexplicably awesome about watching behind the scenes rehearsals of great artists. Not just celebrities, but anyone who is really GREAT at their craft.
It’s a window into an artist’s creative space. It’s personal, authentic, transparent, it’s raw, it’s emotional. There’s passion for the movement, the music, the attention to detail in the execution, how the space on the floor is used, the composition, and how the message is delivered. Every nuance makes an impact and it demonstrates their work ethic.
The public doesn’t see the sweat, tears, the mistakes, falls, twisted ankles, trips, miscounts, blunders, the attitudes, frustrations, the laughs, the hugs, the high fives, & the 50 bajillion repetitions to get it “right”.
I appreciate this footage. I appreciate all the hours I spend in rehearsal learning all of my formats, the hours taken to perfect and learn performance ready pieces for the Bollywood team, and any other presentation or showcase I’m involved in. I respect and give a shout out to any artist that spends hours perfecting their craft because it’s their message to serve. I really love and appreciate watching this amazing artist practice to inevitably create a masterpiece that would create history and leave a legacy behind. It’s fascinating to watch!
I’m looking forward to leaving my own legacy and making this world a better place.
