Movement for the Soul
Why is connecting the soul to the body important?
It is very freeing and healing to allow the essence of who we are to outwardly express how we feel through physical expression. As a whole, our society spends a lot of time indoors working on computers. We lead very hectic lives with busy schedules. Many struggle creating time to move whether it be walking outside for a few minutes to scheduling workout regimens.
As a fitness instructor, there is a need to encourage others to stay active and healthy. And while this is very important, I have found in my experience that there is also a need for a deeper connection to explore movement on a soul level. It is scientifically proven that movement is cathartic. It releases endorphins, connects us to our emotions, and helps build community and relationships.
My hope is for everyone to grow and find their inner flow! Do you understand what makes you unique? When in a group setting we appreciate one another for who we truly are as souls, not for the way we look, the shape of our body, or what we possess in material value. I believe that if we have a true understanding of ourselves at the soul level, then our emotional and physical body will follow suit. I teach movement that honors the life you have been given.
